Analytics on Ever-hosted services
Version 2026-10 · In force from · Ever Technologies LTD
This page describes the product analytics and error monitoring we use in the products we host and operate for our customers: what each tool receives, who runs it, where the data goes and what you can ask us to do about it. It adds detail to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, and to the privacy and cookie policies of each hosted product, which remain the main documents.
Who is responsible
We, Ever Technologies LTD, run these tools as the operator of our hosted products, for our own purposes: to understand how the products are used so that we can improve them, and to find and fix errors. We are the controller of this processing and our Privacy Policy applies to it, including the legitimate interests it describes for understanding how a service is used and for keeping it running. Where a tool stores an identifier in your browser, the table below says so. This processing is separate from the Ever Platform and its integrations.
Where this applies
- Products we host for you, such as Ever Gauzy Cloud, Ever Teams Cloud, Ever Works Cloud and GitHands, and the desktop applications we publish, as listed in the table below.
- Our websites use the website statistics described below and the tools named in the Cookie Policy.
- The Ever Platform services (Ever ID at auth.ever.co, app.ever.co and api.ever.co) use none of these tools and no other third-party analytics or error-monitoring provider.
The tools, and what each one receives
| Tool | Who runs it | Where the data goes | Used in | What it receives |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jitsu (product events) | Ever Technologies LTD, on our own servers | Our own servers in Spain (European Union) | Ever-hosted products, such as Ever Teams Cloud, Ever Gauzy Cloud, Ever Works Cloud and GitHands, through collection addresses on each product’s own domain (for example data.ever.team) | Events from the web applications: the pages and features used, with user and workspace identifiers (and, once you are signed in, your e-mail address and name), browser and device details, IP address and an identifier stored in your browser. In Ever Teams Cloud, and in other products built on the Ever Gauzy server where we have switched it on, the server also sends an event each time a record is created, changed or deleted, and that event carries the content of the record. |
| Umami (website statistics) | Ever Technologies LTD, on our own servers | Our own servers in Spain (European Union) | Our websites, through analytics.ever.co | Page views, referrer, coarse location and device type, counted with a salted visitor hash that changes every day. No IP address is stored and nothing is stored on your device. Page-level records are deleted after 180 days. |
| PostHog (product analytics) | PostHog, Inc. (a third-party provider) Data processing agreement Privacy policy | United States | Ever Works Cloud | Product usage events (pages viewed, features used and clicks) with user and workspace identifiers (and, once you are signed in, your e-mail address and name), referrer, browser and device details, IP address and an identifier stored in your browser; where enabled, recordings of sessions in the web application, with every form field masked. |
| Sentry (error monitoring) | Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) (a third-party provider) Data processing addendum Privacy policy | United States | Ever Gauzy Cloud, Ever Teams Cloud and other hosted products where it is set up, and the desktop applications we publish (such as the Ever Gauzy and Ever Teams desktop apps), wherever they are installed | Error reports: the error and where it happened in the code, the address of the page or request, browser and operating-system details, IP address and, where the product attaches them, the user identifier and e-mail address. A report can contain fragments of the data being processed when the error occurred. |
The tools we run ourselves are open-source software on our own servers, so no third party receives what they collect. The tools run by other companies process the data for us under the data processing agreements linked in the table, from the United States; that transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses described in the Privacy Policy.
Installations you run yourself
If you run an Ever product on your own servers, you are its operator: we do not receive its product analytics unless you configure it to send them to an account of ours.
One exception applies today. The desktop applications we publish, such as the Ever Gauzy and Ever Teams desktop apps, include our error-monitoring key. When one of them reports an error, the report reaches us through Sentry as described in the table, also when the app is connected to a server you run yourself.
If you find an installation of yours sending any other data to us, tell us at privacy@ever.co: we will block that source and delete what we received.
How long the data is kept
Our website statistics delete page-level records after 180 days. Error reports are kept for up to 90 days, as our Privacy Policy states. For product events, ask us at privacy@ever.co for the current period.
Your rights
You can object to this processing, or ask for access to or deletion of the analytics data about you, by writing to privacy@ever.co. Your other rights, and how we handle a request, are set out in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to this page
When we add, remove or change a tool, we update this page, with its version and date, before the change takes effect.
